Our spiral fabrics are designed to increase drying capacity through increased pocket air volume. Because our spirals are available up to 950cfm, much higher levels of air movement are possible, increasing drying rates. Cases of dramatically increased drying rates have been documented with our spirals.

Level Moisture Profiles

Spiral fabrics have a very uniform permeability profile, made possible by our precision manufacturing processes. Because our spiral designs run with minimum seam distortion, the permeability profile is more effectively maintained throughout life, resulting in level moisture profiles and a higher-quality sheet.

Nonmarking

Because of their high surface uniformity,  spirals are also nonmarking. The possibility

of seam mark is eliminated with our spirals because there is no seam. The surface of the

fabric is identical all the way around.

On-machine Repair

The unique construction of a  spiral allows it to be repaired on a paper machine.Sections can be removed and the remaining fabric pieced back together.

Longer Fabric Life

Our spiral fabrics do not have a weak link like woven designs. The seam strength in a woven design can often be 25- 50% of the fabric body, and is where most woven designs fail.spiral designs have no seam, and as a result, no weak link.
